Phillippa White has moved through a cancer diagnosis and beyond tapping into the power of her spirit and linking it to business leadership.
We spoke honestly today about her experience with cancer, the changes and learning it opened up and then jumped to the fractal implications for businesses and organizations. In the short live stream where I remembered how difficult it is to invite a guest on (we gave up), I provided an overview of what I listen for and the observable steps in navigating a disruption to life that is also life-threatening. These observations originate from reflecting on my own experience when things didn’t go according to plan. (which was often). I found it useful to reclaim clarity on where I was on the map of uncertainty and what was driving and guiding my decisions on how to handle what I faced.
“True adventure begins when everything goes wrong.” -Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia founder
