The numbers tell a story

This was the first cover image of my podcast, TIE Unearthed, when we started in 2020. It was a labour of love then, and it continues to be now.
And I’m so proud of where we have got to, 5 years later.
This podcast for me is so much more than “just interviews”. The deep conversations with people ignite an energy in my heart that is so hard to describe.
They provide insight to business and the world I wouldn’t get otherwise. I get to connect with people in a way I wouldn’t be able to normally. And the conversations provide so much inspiration and ideas for the work we are constantly developing at TIE Leadership.
There is just SO much there.
And although I get so much out of the podcast, I’m just always so over the moon to know that other people enjoy it too.
This year’s TIE Unearthed Spotify Wrapped warmed my heart.
In a world that feels noisy, reactive and increasingly disconnected, it’s so gratifying to know that thousands of you chose to spend time every couple of weeks diving into stories that bring us back to what matters: our shared humanity, our curiosity and our capacity to lead with purpose.
And even though I had to stop for 6 months this year unexpectedly – these results are still incredible. Check this out!
✨ 25 countries tuned in this year
✨ A 2025 “Most Shared” show – more shares than 80% of all podcasts
✨ A 2025 Fan Favourite – with an average rating higher than 62% of other shows
✨ And listeners stayed with us longer than 76% of all shows
This just shows that people everywhere are craving deeper conversations – ones that challenge assumptions, widen perspectives and remind us why empathy, diversity of thought and courage, still matter.
And this is exactly why TIE Unearthed exists.
To hold up a mirror.
To unlock the stories that shift paradigms.
To explore the very human skills that fuel better leaders, better companies, and (I truly believe) a better world.
Thank you for listening, for being part of the show this year, for sharing, rating and showing up with such heart.
Here’s to another year of unearthing what makes us human, together.
Special thanks to my guests this year – Raphael H Cohen, Nathalie Nahai, Caspar Craven, Christina M. Hartman, Elsie Maio, Tabbin Almond, Caroline Chubb Calderon, Narath Carlile, Nicola Pye, Helen Wada. And Cyril Awere who is coming next…so watch this space!
