Callum currently works as Business Development Strategist for Group XP, WPP’s largest experience collective. There, he partners data with creative to explore opportunities for growth through experience for the group’s clients.
This is his third year-long rotation of the WPP Fellowship. He began his WPP career in Account Management at Grey London, where his clients included Vodafone, GSK, Tate Art Galleries, Brother and Greene King. He then moved to work as a Digital Strategist for Ogilvy & Mather Advertising in Shanghai, where his clients included Yum Brands, the Coca-Cola Company, Ford, Huawei, Agoda, Unilever and Philips.
Prior to joining WPP, Callum worked as a theatre producer and freelance marketer in London. He is a founding director of international cycling-Shakespeare troupe, The HandleBards (www.handlebards.com). Previous work in theatre includes being Festival Manager of the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival, Artistic Director of the Durham Drama Festival and Founding Manager of theatre for development charity Kenya Collective.
Callum holds a BA in Geography from Durham University. He was born and grew-up in Nairobi, Kenya. He loves Africa, theatre, the outdoors, travelling, climbing, squash and cycling.
Callum is going to work with the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, one of the pioneering conservation organisations for wildlife and habitat protection in East Africa. Click here to know more about this project.
